7. Zoomorphic fibulae
Site: Resnik – the Ancient Siculi
Material: bronze
Dating: mid 3rd century
Dimensions: length 48 mm, length of the needle 34 mm
Description: Arched fibulae in a shape of a horse, of a stylized view, his head and neck are accentuated, lips are expressed on the head, ears are elevated, a small tail plastically shown, stylized mane and saddle marked by notches, bucking mechanism is articulated, needle and the articulated cylinder are also preserved which is circular in section and ends with bulb, needle holder was not preserved but the needle rested on the front foot.
